SALVAJE
EXPEDITIONS
Private tours in the Riviera Maya. One vehicle, one guide, and a day built around what you actually want to see. No hidden fees.

What we do
Three ways to go out with us
The routes
Full days and half days already built, each one private. The group is you and nobody else.
Transfers
From the airport to where you are staying, and back. We track the flight, so a delay is not your problem.
Uncharted
If what you want is not on the list, we build it. Tell us the day you have in your head.
The routes
Three routes ready, two on the way. Every one of them private.

Chichén Itzá, lunch, cenote and Valladolid
One of the seven wonders of the world. A long day, built to get there before the coaches.
Full day · Moderate

Tulum by electric bike
The town at the pace of someone who lives there, not someone passing through on a coach.
Half day · Easy
How it works
What is included, and what you will not be paying for separately
A vehicle for your group
Up to ten passengers. You share it with nobody, and the day moves at your pace.
No exact timings
Pickup depends on where you are staying. What does not change is the length and the order.
Entries and lunch inside
Site entries and lunch are in the price. No envelopes coming out halfway through the day.
Photos from the day
Wherever there is water, your guide carries an action camera. The photos come after, at no extra cost.

Transfers
From the airport, without the ugly part
You land in Cancun after a long flight, with luggage, and the last thing you want is to negotiate on the kerb. We wait for you with your name, in the same vehicle we use for the routes.
We track the flight number. If it is late, we know before you write to us.
What we do differently
Sunscreen, and why we are going to ask you not to wear it
Everywhere tells you to bring biodegradable sunscreen. The truth, and almost nobody says it, is that sunscreen is a bad idea in the water, biodegradable or not. You end up hearing it from a guide at the entrance, and by then it is too late.
What works is a long sleeved shirt or a rash guard. If you do not have one, we give you one. And if the whole group wears the same one, the photos from the day come out far better.
This is not a rule we impose on you. It is what can be done for a reef that is the second largest in the world, and we would rather tell you now than in the queue.
Contact
Tell us what day you have in mind
Tell us how many you are, your dates, and what interests you. You get a proposal back, not a form.
